FA Cup Final

The FA Cup is an annual elimination-style football tournament in men’s domestic English football. It made its debut during the 1871-72 season and holds the distinction of being the oldest national football competition globally. This prestigious event is overseen and named after The Football Association (The FA). As of 2015, it has been officially titled The Emirates FA Cup due to its primary sponsorship arrangement. Additionally, a parallel Women’s FA Cup has been in existence since 1970.

The FA Cup is the biggest domestic cup in England. A competition that is steeped in history and a trophy that every team hopes to get their hands on. The tournament is open to clubs of all levels in the English football league system, from the top-tier Premier League teams to amateur and semi-professional clubs and this is what makes the competition so special.

In 2023, Man City won the competition on their way to a historic treble, beating Manchester United in a memorable FA Cup Final at Wembley Stadium. In 2024, every team will be hoping to make it to Wembley, not only for the semi-final but the final too.
