Cricket World Cup 2019
The 2019 Cricket World Cup is set to be hosted by England v Wales between the dates of 30th May to 14 July 2019, the 4th time England & Wales have hosted the global event.
Featuring 10 teams across 48 matches, all of the top cricketing nations will play each other across 12 UK venues, with each team playing 9 games, and the top 4 teams in the group progress to knockout stage semi-finals, and Final.
Do Australia’s new generation of players, currently courting controversy in a ball tampering incident, have what it takes to defend the title they so emphatically claimed in 2015?! No doubt 2015 runner’s up, New Zealand and of course the powerhouse that is India will be gunning for the Green and Gold harder than ever. Afghanistan join the echelons of cricketing greats having beaten Ireland in the qualifiers.
