2020 England v West Indies, Kia Oval
England v West Indies will provide the first International fixtures of the 2020 calendar. Taking place at the Kia Oval, from 4th-8th June 2020 the three Test Series will contribute points to the World Test Championships, the inaugural bilateral series which culminates with the Final in 2021.
Both teams have a good mix of youth and experience and will have realistic expectations of reaching the WTC Final.
In addition to the points on offer, after losing the Wisden Trophy earlier this year the series will provide the opportunity for Root’s England to win back lost silverware.
Expect a party atmosphere at the Oval as both these teams have enthusiastic followings.

2020 England v Ireland ODI, Kia Oval
England face Ireland in their last One Day International at the Kia Oval on Tues 15th Sept 2020, and their final match of the summer.
The last time these two teams met, Ireland were left hugely disappointed. The inaugural Test at Lord’s began with England bowled out for 85. Tim Murtagh with a test 5 for however requiring 181 to win the game were cleaned up for 38.
Ireland will be wanting an upset but will face a tough task against current World Champs England.
England’s team is stacked full of batsmen with the ability to take games away from the very best bowling line-ups. Ireland’s bowlers will need to be on top form to restrict England.
