Product Description

The Hundred is coming to the Oval!

The Hundred Oval Invincible’s will be led by the pragmatic Tom Moody (head coach), Vikram Solanki (assistant coach), Matt Walker (assistant coach). A fantastic team full of experience on the domestic and International stage.

Some could argue that the decision to go with Sam Curran as the England centrally-contracted Test player was a shock, with the likes of Jason Roy and Olly Pope and Sam Billings to choose from. However in recent times Sam has proven to be ever dependable in a tight situation but also have the ability to make something happen when the game seems to be meandering along.

The Oval Invincible’s have chosen West Indians Sunil Narine and Fabian Allen and Nepalese cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane as their overseas contingent. Lamichhane and Allen will add an element of the unknown coming into the squad with in comparison very little international cricket. Allen has been on he IPL circuit and has started to make a name for himself with the ball.

The Local icons will be well know with the Surrey faithful, England’s Jason Roy arguably their best ever ODI opener and Tom Curran (Sam Curran’s brother) who has mastered the art of detah bowling. His combination of slower balls, yorker’s, cutters and slower ball bouncers have kept the very best in the world guessing.

Domestic players: Sam Billings, Rilee Rossouw, Reece Topley, Hardus Viljoen, Alex Blake, Will Jacks, Chris Wood, Nathan Sowter, Laurie Evans

There is a huge amount of talent within this group of cricket players all of which will offer the captain who is currently unnamed a lot of variation. A lot of pressure will be on the shoulders of Sunil Narine with the ball throughout the middle overs and Jason Roy with the bat at the top order but the likes of Billings, Topley and Wood all have a huge amount of experience to bring to this squad.

Could be the Invincible’s be The-Hundred’s second season winners?
