Latest From the Premier League

All 20 teams have now played 8 games and the Premier league is heating up. We have seen a fair share of drama so far and long may it continue throughout the season. Along with having some of the greatest players, the unpredictability of the Premier league makes it the best league in the world.

Manager Watch

The Premier League season always provides twists and turns throughout the season. We have already seen Watford manager Xisco Munoz get given his marching orders after being sacked by the Watford board after just 10 months in charge, this didn’t come a surprise to many as Watford have had 17 managers in the last ten years. The man to take the reins at Watford is ex Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri. Watford fans will be hoping he can replicate the miracle he produced when in charge of Leicester.

Staying on the topic of football managers, the inevitable has happened, Steve Bruce’s time as Newcastle manager has come to an end after Bruce departed Newcastle by mutual consent. The departure is due to Newcastle consistently underperforming but mainly down to the change in ownership of the club. The takeover brings an end to Mike Ashley’s 14-year spell as Newcastle United owner. The billion-pound takeover aims to resurge Newcastle’s hopes for titles and silverware, their last major trophy was the FA Cup in 1955.

One man who’s future is constantly in doubt is Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. With a group of talented individuals he can’t seem to galvanise his side. After a ambitious transfer window in the summer, Manchester United were dubbed favourites to take the Premier League crown. So far they have showed signs of inconsistency in their first eight games and the manager has come under fire from various football pundits. Will Ole be at Old Trafford come the end of the season? Only time will tell.

Manchester United v Liverpool: One to Watch

This fixture is one of the fiercest in the Premier League. This weekend both teams go head-to-head in an important Premier League battle. Manchester United have won just one of their last 10 Premier League meetings with Liverpool, drawing 6 and losing 3. After Liverpool got the better of United with a convincing 4-2 victory at Old Trafford in May, they are looking to secure consecutive league victories at Old Trafford for the first time since January 2002.

The current Manchester United team have not really been hitting the heights that many expected so far this season. With the return of Ronaldo and positive additions in the form of Sancho and Varane, you would have thought they would be sitting higher than 6th, four points behind their opponents on Sunday, Liverpool.

View From the Top

Chelsea currently lead the way at the top of the table with 18 points, Stamford Bridge is proving to be a difficult place to get a result for teams at the moment. Top will be playing bottom at the Bridge this weekend as Norwich City make the trip to London, in which will be a huge task for them.

Liverpool are only a point behind the leaders Chelsea, with a convincing 5-0 win over Watford and an entertaining win against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League they will be looking to continue this fine form, however the challenge at hand is a big one with the massive game at Old Trafford this weekend.

A team that has surprised the Premier League so far this season is Brighton. Brighton are currently in the top four on 15 points, but it is a long season and I can’t see them holding this position throughout the season. Brighton come up against the team who are above them in the table, Manchester City. Last years champions are currently sitting in third, as they have proved over a number of seasons now, they can be rampant, ruthless and relentless on their day. Manchester City are brimming with talent this season with De Bruyne, Phil Foden, Bernado Silva and the addition this term of Jack Grealish, they are a team who can punish any side.

Tottenham Hotspur, who with the team they have should really be pushing higher up in the league. This has been the tale of past seasons for Spurs and it is looking like the same story so far this season. Harry Kane got off the mark against Newcastle last weekend scoring his first goal in the Premier League this season, can he be instrumental for them this season amid all the transfer talk which surrounded him in the summer?

Looking Down the League

A team that are morphing into mid table regulars of late are Arsenal. Arsenal have gone from top 4 contenders in previous years to a mediocre mid table outfit. Their draw with a revitalised Crystal Palace under Viera at the Emirates Stadium on Monday just showed how far they had really fallen. Palace capitalised on Arsenal’s sloppy performance, Arsenal struck late on to rescue a point. Arsenal currently sit in 12th place in the Premier League with lot’s of work needed to be done.

When looking at the bottom of the table there are a few teams that could be in big trouble this season based of their starts to their campaigns. Burnley, Newcastle and Norwich are currently sitting in the bottom three in the Premier League. All the teams in the bottom three have not managed a win so far this season. Norwich who have become a yoyo club sit rock bottom on 2 points with Newcastle and Burnley just above on 3 points.

In my opinion I think that these three teams will be relegated come the end of the season. The one team that won’t be feeling too nervous being in the bottom three at this stage is Newcastle United as their season is potentially going to take a massive turn due to the billion pound takeover. The January transfer window will be an exciting one to see who they recruit in this massive re-build.

Premier League Hospitality opportunities in London

London has a wealth of corporate hospitality opportunities across all sports and football is no different, with some incredible stadiums and teams to go and watch.

Arsenal FC Hospitality – The Emirates Stadium holds just over 60,000 fans and replaced Highbury in the same area in 2006. The views for corporate hospitality packages are fantastic and with so many recent historical greats still involved at the club, you are guaranteed to have a brilliant experience in North London.

Can Arsenal improve in their second full season under Mikel Arteta with young talent such as Bakayo Saka and Emile Smith-Rowe coming through the ranks?

Chelsea FC Hospitality – Stamford Bridge has been the home of Chelsea FC since they were formed in 1905 and has had crowds of around 100,000 in the 1920s. The West London venue is a primary location for high end corporate hospitality and watching Chelsea recently has been extremely entertaining, due to the ownership of Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich.

Chelsea have made a good start under new German manager Thomas Tuchel, who will be looking to gel his attacking stars to mount a title challenge in the 2021/22 Premier League season.

Tottenham FC Hospitality – Tottenham Hotspur have always been known for entertaining football and their incredible new stadium in north London reflects the ambition the club has. Whilst the 62,000 stadium was being built, Tottenham spent a couple of seasons playing at Wembley Stadium but now their new venue is ready. The stadium is modern and luxurious in many aspects, including their corporate hospitality options. If you haven’t been before then the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is certainly one to tick off and see.

Can Jose Mourinho drive the club to success or has the Chelsea legend’s time finally ran out? Harry Kane, Hyeung Min Son and the other Tottenham stars will be desperate to add to their scarce trophy cabinet..

West Ham United FC Hospitality – West Ham have recently moved into the iconic Olympic Stadium, home to the 2012 London Olympic Games. The modern stadium has impeccable views of the pitch and watching an improving West Ham side is generating increased interest.

David Moyes has propelled this team to new heights in the Premier League in 2020/21, can he repeat those heroics next season?

Premier League Opportunities around the UK

Of course there are fantastic corporate hospitality venues around the country and some of football’s iconic stadiums are a long way north of London.

Manchester United Hospitality – Manchester United have the richest history in the Premier League era and it’s matched by their stadium, that holds over 70,000 and the most in the Premier League. Old Trafford is a truly unique corporate hospitality experience for the atmosphere generated by the fans and the action seen on the pitch. Although they haven’t hit their impeccable heights in recent years, Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes are driving the club back to the glory days.

Will Ole Gunnar Solskjaer make the next step and challenge for the Premier League, their first since Sir Alex Ferguson’s last season in 2012?

Manchester City Hospitality – Their noisy neighbours Manchester City have been the dominant Premier League club in the last 10 years and watching a Pep Guardiola team right now is a memorable experience. With significant investment, the club have bolstered their playing squad, facilities and stadium with the Etihad Stadium holding over 55,000 spectactors. As the team continue to create history and unforgettable memories, now is the time to watch the beautiful game played beautifully.

Who can stop Manchester City to another Premier League title?

Liverpool FC Hospitality – Anfield is a global, iconic venue that has held incredible Liverpool teams in the past and now in recent memory. The stadium and fans generate an unrivalled atmosphere that makes Liverpool FC corporate hospitality packages extremely appealing to all football fans. They also hold a huge place in European history. Recent nights against Barcelona, Manchester City and Chelsea in the Champions League at Anfield will all live long in the memories of fans.

Will Liverpool bounce back from an incredibly disappointing title defence season?
